Geese in Our Favourite Pond

Landmark 12 (Nearby Plants and Animals)

On a walk past our favourite pond we were very excited to see a big surprise- two geese and a male mallard duck! We quietly watched them and wondered if the female duck was already on a nest somewhere close by and whether the geese would make a nest there too. We didn’t want to scare them so we didn’t stay long. We will check in quickly from a distance on our next walk to see if they are still there.
