Notice the Sounds of Spring

Landmark 11 (Celebrate each Season)

During a recent science lesson in our outdoor classroom, we were noticing the different sounds that spring has brought. We stayed really quiet for two minutes and drew the different things we heard around us in the form of a sound map in our nature journals. When reflecting afterwards, students noted that they heard the wind blowing through the trees, chickadees, cardinals, robins, cars and people talking in the school yard.
