Painting Peacocks

Landmark 2 (Animal Friends Monthly)

Today we got to explore more animals from the Peterborough Zoo. The zookeepers told us some interesting facts about each one but what was really amazing was when we got to the peacocks. The male peacock had all his feathers open wide to see. We followed up with a painting activity for the children to make their own peacock. We remembered what colours we saw from the tour and used our hands to make feather prints and spots.
