Butterflies Emerge

Landmark 15 (Garden, birdfeeder, insects etc.)

We had caterpillars in our room that we watched grow, they eventually turned into chrysalis’ and hung from the top of the containers. We then transferred the hanging chrysalis’ to our butterfly mesh container. We watched as we saw the butterflies emerge from the chrysalis. Yesterday we took our butterflies outside and released them. Some of the butterflies flew off right away, some stuck around for the students to hold.
