Landmark #2 (Animal Friends)
We love visiting Belle every weekend to give her treats and offer her some company. When Belle hears B’s voice she stops what she’s doing and runs on over. They are the best of pals!

Landmark #2 (Animal Friends)
The most magical thing happened today! These tiny legs travelled all the way to Jackson Creek to see what we could find. We love visiting our own forest each day, but travelling somewhere new is a wonderful adventure too. On the way we spent many moments watching a momma Monarch feast on delicious milk weed. “She will leave her babies and die, but her babies will fly soon.” said H. How amazing that such tiny humans understand the circle of life with such precision and explain it in such simplicity.

Landmark #18 (Celebrate a Natural Area)
Paddled around in an inlet and watched /counted turtles, frogs, fish and birds. We saw painted turtles, terns, osprey, and a heron. We saw an osprey dive and caught a fish. The fish were hiding in the weeds. We sat and reflected on how lucky we are to live so close to such variety in nature.

Landmark #1 (Explore Outdoors Together)
Despite the heat, we enjoyed our trip to the forest today. A helped B and H continue their fort-today they expanded their building into various gates and doors. I loved how their imaginative play ran wild as they explored the properties and capabilities of the natural building materials they found.

Landmark #1 (Explore Outdoors Together)
I went paddle boarding with my mom and explored Rogers Cove in Peterborough. We saw lily pads and watched people jump off the bridge. I also got to play at the beach. I really love being in the water because it’s fun.

🌲 One of our #pathwayexplorers submitted their Landmark photo yesterday and got 25 points on the leaderboard by exploring a nearby waterway and going Geocaching! Big 🙌 for them! ☀️🐝🐸🦋🌷🌎
